How Do I Apply?

Freshmen must complete a UC application. Please click here to refer to the UC San Diego Admissions website for details.  

Incoming Freshman:

In addition, students interested in the Philosophy major have the option of submitting a writing sample for faculty review.  Faculty evaluations will be submitted to the UC San Diego Admissions Committee for consideration.  

Incoming Transfer Students

Transfer students do not need to provide a writing sample at this time.
